I recently illustrated a series of images for an Italian restaurant in London to go on the staff uniforms. The client was keen to have an old gnarly olive tree, reminiscent of rustic mediterranean cuisine.Drawing, Graphic Design, Illustration2013 -
Every year, French company Relais & Chateaux hosts a grand dinner celebrating cuisine in a chosen country, attended by many highly regarded chefs and guests. This year, the event was hosted in Old Billingsgate, London, and focussed on the concept of local British produce and travel. I was chosen to illustrate a booklet given to the guests, explaining the aims of the company and the background of the produce chosen to be cooked and served at the dinner.Drawing, Illustration2013 -

Some thank-you notes I did using some old letterpress type. I only have one letter of each so each letter was hand printed separately one after the other, then scanned in and cleaned up (slightly) on photoshop. I wanted it to be fairly untidy and messy. I got this tune stuck in my head, which is where the idea of the words came from.Graphic Design, Typography2013 -

This years design for my Christmas cards saw me screen printing for the first time! I used screen filler to create a simple monochromatic design of a reindeer with oversized decorated antlers. The cards are quite messy as I got ink everywhere, but that's why I like them.Graphic Design, Illustration, Print Design2012 -

A piece based on the theme 'heartbreak' - I thought this could turn into something quite dark so I went for a more lighthearted approach - the best cure for a broken heart is a slice of heartbreak pie and an hourly dose of tea.Drawing, Illustration2012 -

Commission to illustrate plans to build a small timber cafe and bird hide on a disused 1960s concrete footbridge in Clophill, Bedfordshire. A new traditional brick footbridge over the river had been built adjacent, and a use was required for the now disused concrete bridge. Timber would be light enough structurally for the bridge, and the openings would afford a view down the river, with all its wildlife.Architecture, Illustration2012 -
