A chronological timeline (egg shaped, of course), that illustrates a loved one or ones' lives, commissioned to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other big milestone.
The very first 'Egg'...
In 2014, a close family friend asked me to draw an illustrated timeline of his wife's life for her 60th birthday. After collecting lots of information, details and photographs, I drew an oval shaped timeline that we printed and framed - and thus the "egg" illustration was born (or should I say, laid....)
Since 'laying' that first egg in 2014, I’ve done over a hundred bespoke illustrations for individuals and couples, each one put together from memories, milestones, and meaningful details. Each egg is a one-of-a-kind illustrated timeline, created to celebrate a life, a relationship, or a shared story. Drawn digitally from scratch and printed to gallery standards, eggs make thoughtful gifts for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, retirement, or any moment worth celebrating. No two eggs are ever the same.
What exactly is an 'egg'?
An egg is a bespoke timeline illustration that visually tells a story of a person or couples' lives to date. We map out the moments, people, places, and symbols that matter most to them, and I draw them up into a printed illustration that can be treasured for many years.
Each egg is:
- Fully bespoke and illustrated from scratch
- Designed specifically for an individual, couple or family
- Printed professionally as a fine art giclée print
- Created to be kept, framed, and treasured

Planning & Timeline
I’ll confirm availability and timings. Please allow as much notice as possible, shorter deadlines may not always be possible.
Deposit & drawing
A 50% deposit secures your commission, we discuss content, and I begin drawing.
Completion & print
The remaining balance is due on completion. Your egg is professionally printed and delivered to you.

- One physical fine art print
- Professional giclée printing by Fine Art Trade Guild–accredited printers

Mounting and framing are optional, you're welcome to arrange framing yourself if you prefer. If you’d like me to organise it, frame specifications (materials, mount, glass or perspex) can be discussed. Please note framing requires additional lead time.

Livi was very kind to have put in every bit of detail into a compact illustration! It was also a fun time brainstorming this, as it gave the two of us the chance to dig out our childhood photos and relive our childhood memories. I was due to return to HK for my wedding, and she kindly completed it ahead of time, so that it was ready to go for the big day. It was a light-hearted design, but contained every detail that summarised different memorable moments in our lives. We would like to thank Livi for her great masterpiece and wishing her all the best in her future projects!
